NorsePlay would just like to put it out into the subcultural water that if someone were to make a music video of Phil Collins' In the Air Tonight  with scenes from The Northman  instead, I'd be rather pleased. So thematically having what is arguably the best revenge song ever made scoring one of the best Viking films yet made would be a desirable NorsePlay retrofit. The cybervikingsphere is rife with excitement & premature criticism over the upcoming April release of The Northman . In the above trailer it looks like there's much to anticipate from this NorsePlay'd major motion picture, so let's extrapolate some points of interest about what & why that is: ⸶ Nicole Kidman & Anya Taylor-Joy. Holy Freyja's cats , we'd sail a longship across the Atlantic for those two. ⸶ Björk as the Seeress. It's so spot on to see the avant-garde songstress cast as a mystical Völva witch. More largely there's the inextricable ball of anger & sadness of loss. Kari is propelled by these feelings, killing many not only for the reputational duty & obligation of vengeance, but because he hurts so very deeply inside at everything he's lost, can't help but think about, and will think about for the rest of his life.
