Dwarves get NorsePlay'd as "Squats" in the grim future of Warhammer 40K. These once-human colonists were separated from their intergalactic forefathers on high-gravity mining worlds for millennia. In the interim they grew, well, squatter in build and essentially became super crafty space dwarves who came up with this Overlord Airship , first for mining gaseous giants of their atmospheric liquid metals, then adapting them for battle. a Mjölnir from the future.

In the grim future of Warhammer 40K there is only war, and within the arsenal of these wars are powerful melee weapons which include an obvious derivative of Mjölnir, the Thunder Hammer . These warhammers have a concussive energy field which emits when they hit their target and sounds like thunder. This unpainted version from this tabletop miniatures game in particular is wielded by the NorsePlay inspired Space Wolves, who use alot of rune decorations on their banners & power armour.
