Played Odin's Ravens last night and it was fun. From the makers of all those neat military historical reference guides you know & love, Osprey Publishing, comes a Norse Lore-based game where you play Huginn against Muninn in a race from Odin, across the worlds, and back. The cards feature excellent art from Johan Egerkrans that remind one of that old Dark Tower game. There's a fair amount of matching (great for kids) and strategic use of tricky Loki cards to get ahead or stop your fellow raven from advancing.

Guillermo Maytorena IV knew there was something special in the Norse Lore when he picked up a copy of the d'Aulaires' Norse Gods and Giants at age seven. Since then he's been fascinated by the truthful potency of Norse Mythology, passionately read & studied, embraced Ásatrú, launched the Map of Midgard project, and spearheaded the neologism/brand NorsePlay. If you have employment/opportunities in investigative mythology,  field research, or product development to offer, do contact him.
