toward a sexier book hoard.
Barnes & Noble has the good habit of making sexy & inexpensive editions of things available at a reasonable pricepoint, and this is one of those things. While the tradition of decorated books began as a monastic & religious practice, it's sweet to see that getting aesthetically NorsePlay'd with Jellinge-style knotted animals, Mjölnir, the Valknut, the Bolverk Odin mask designs. With all the reconstructionist book hoarding, this tribute may be a worthy addition, plus we feel in an ideal world all books should look as good as this.

Guillermo Maytorena IV knew there was something special in the Norse Lore when he picked up a copy of the d'Aulaires' Norse Gods and Giants at age seven. Since then he's been fascinated by the truthful potency of Norse Mythology, passionately read & studied, embraced Ásatrú, launched the Map of Midgard project, and spearheaded the neologism/brand NorsePlay. If you have employment/opportunities in investigative mythology, field research, or product development to offer, do contact him.
